Estonian EU external border programme

We are glad to announce that seven project summary forms (PSF) were received within the 2nd Call for proposals of Estonia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020.

Total budget of these project applications amounts to EUR 2 268 600 and the Programme grant available under the 2nd Call is EUR 870 000.

The received cross border project ideas are expected to contribute to the joint risk management of natural disasters and decrease of the overall number of land- and forest fires in border area of Estonia and Russia.

Next step is to evaluate all applications. The Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) will carry out the administrative eligibility check of received project summaries followed by quality assessment by the Selection Committee members which will be assisted by JTS and MA. The final decision on the project approval will be taken by the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Programme.

Applicants whose project summaries will be approved by the JMC will be invited to submit full application forms.

1st stage of the 2nd Call was opened from 10 January till 7 March 2018 in specific area `Fostering shared actions in risk management and a readiness to cope with environmental disasters` under the Programme Thematic Objective 6 `Environmental protection, climate change mitigation and adaption`.
