Within the 2nd Restricted Call for Proposals three Full Applications out of four invited were submitted by the set deadline till 12 December 2018.
15 partners including regional and local authorities, public organizations and NGOs are involved in the projects’ activities.
These cross border cooperation projects imply to update fire monitoring systems, improve fire protection equipment and raise awareness of local inhabitants about forest fires protection thus decreasing probabilities of fires in border regions of Estonia and Russia.
The total budget of the submitted project applications amounts to more than 1 MEUR.
2nd Call for proposals is solely focused on specific area “Fostering shared actions in risk management and readiness to cope with environmental disasters” within the Thematic Objective 6 Environmental protection, climate change mitigation and adaption.
