Estonian EU external border programme

On 19-20 December 2017, the 4th meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Estonia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme was held in Pskov, Russia. The meeting was devoted to various topics related to implementation and development of the Programme.

 

         

 

The session was chaired by Ms. Yulia Savkina, chief specialist-expert of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, JMC has approved a number of important working documents like Programme Work Plan, Technical Assistance Budget, Information and Communication Plan for the year 2018.

 

       

 

Submission of full applications of all five Large Infrastructure Projects, jointly developed since 2015, to the European Commission was approved.

Project Implementing Guidelines and its Annexes were discussed within the work session and expected to be approved at the next meeting.

 

        

 

JMC has also taken a decision to launch 2nd Restricted Call for proposals under TO6 specific area “Fostering shared actions in risk management and a readiness to cope with environmental disasters” on 10 January 2018. The allocated Programme funds for this call is EUR 870 000 and the maximum grant per project is EUR 400 000. Deadline for submission of project summaries is set for 7 March 2018.

 

         

 

Next meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee is scheduled to take place in June 2018 in Estonia.
