On 18 October 2021 the 7th meeting of the Joint Programming Committee (JPC) was held online to discuss preparation of the Estonia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation (CBC) Programme 2021-2027. The meeting was chaired by Mr Daniil Turlanov, Deputy Head of Division, the Department of development of integration projects and CIS countries, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
30 participants – JPC members, EC representative and experts from TESIM and Interact, staff of Managing Authority (MA) and Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) took part in the meeting.
MA introduced the audience with the state of play of preparation of the Programme Document, including the nearest milestones to come.
JTS presented draft Capitalisation Plan of the Estonia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2021-2027, which is concentrating on the process of transfer and reuse of knowledge for ensuring the sustainability of projects’ results.
Based on thorough discussion it was agreed to make further decisions on Capitalisation Plan at the JPC meeting in December 2021 considering the analysis of the projects’ applications submitted under the 4th Call for proposals.
Also the Description of the Management and Control Systems of the Programme, focusing on the structure and functions of Joint Secretariat and Branch Offices, as well key elements of the Technical assistance budget were presented and discussed.
The 8th meeting of the Joint Programming Committee is scheduled for November 2021.
