COOPERATION AND ART BUFFET IN ALATSKIVI, ESTONIA
We welcome you on Saturday, 15 September in Alatskivi, Peipsiääre Municipality, Estonia from 10.00 till 17.00.
This year we are a part of Buffet day on Onion Road in Alatskivi and open just for one day our `Cooperation and Art Buffet` which will be operated by Estonia-Russia Programme and our partners!
In parallel the workshops in Alatskivi Nature Centre will offer different activities for younger family members in art and crafts and participants are invited to colour postcards which we have created on the basis of Estonian and Russian children`s drawings and send it to the destination chosen by you.
The day includes also musical entertainment and jointly planted oak tree will symbolize our cross border cooperation in Alatskivi.
The event is organised in cooperation with Peipsiääre Municipality, Alatskivi Nature Centre and NGO Sibulatee.
HANSEATIC BUSINESS BREAKFAST AND HISTORICAL FESTIVAL IN PSKOV, RUSSIA
We invite you to visit our interactive tent during “Voyevoda Shujsky” Festival (near Pokrovskaya tower) starting from 12.00 till 17.00 on Saturday, 22 September in Pskov, Russia.
Within historical festival joint cooking of traditional Russian soup will gather high officials from Estonia, Latvia and Russia to show cooperation of border regions. In our workshops you can colour postcards drawn by Estonian and Russian children, guess facts about bordering countries or try out minting of coins with the help of blacksmith and make a joyful photo with our photo frame. PS! Postcards can be sent to your chosen destination.
Besides the Festival entrepreneurs and students, officials from Estonia, Latvia and Russia will meet at “Hanseatic business breakfast” to discuss challenges and benefits of doing business with the focus on cultural heritage and Hanseatic days planned in Pskov in year 2019.
The event is organized in cooperation with Latvia-Russia CBC Programme.
“CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION – MEETING POINT OF CULTURES” FESTIVAL IN GATCHINA, LENINGRAD REGION, RUSSIA
On Sunday, 30 September you are awaited in Gatchina Palace in Gatchina, Leningrad Region, Russia from 12.00-15.00 at the Festival “Cross-Border Cooperation – Meeting point of Cultures” (“Bridging Cultures”).
Event will introduce you to the rich common heritage of four bordering countries, including folklore, paintings, music and national cuisine. Crafting master classes for families and children offer the joy of co-operation and enrich you with new skills. Guided tour in Gatchina palace gives the opportunity to explore the rich art collection of museum.
Activities are organized in cooperation of three cross-border cooperation Programmes: Estonia-Russia, Latvia-Russia and South-East Finland-Russia with the support of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region Administrations and involvement of Gatchina children art school.
‘Sharing borders, growing closer’ is the motto of the European Cooperation Day for celebration of the spirit of cooperation throughout Europe and beyond its borders. “Painting our future together” is the slogan of this years`, 7th edition of the European Cooperation Day
