International Youth Discussion Group
“Bridging youth: building future together”
On 22 September in Narva, Estonia
How can a border become an opportunity and how can our youth contribute to improve the situation? Challenges and opportunities in CBC? What can we learn from each other?
These are just some topics to be discussed in Narva Youth Centre among youngsters from Ida-Virumaa (Estonia), Leningrad oblast (Russia), Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Hungary. Results of the discussions will be presented to representatives of local authorities from Estonia and Russia.
Open Regatta “Narva Regatta 2017”
On 23 September in Narva, Estonia from 11.00-16.00
A friendly water sports competition of small boats and micro class yachts will be held on Estonian-Russian border river Narva to popularize sailing sport and highlight the spirit of cooperation!

In parallel in Narva port area the workshop and cultural entertainment of local performers will be held providing different activities for families and public. Benefits and practical results of cross border cooperation will be presented to participants of the event by the Programme.
Best sports teams and most active participants will be awarded with Programme and EC Day prizes!
The field kitchen, offering warm soup ensures the strength and good spirit of participants and guests.

Creativity and teamwork can be tested in photo hunting!
To catch the traces of cross-border co-operation, vivid reflections and moments of celebration of European Cooperation Day in border town Narva the competition is organized.

EC Day activities in Narva are organised in close cooperation with Narva Municipality, Narva Youth Centre, Narva Young Sailors` Club.
Business Breakfast and Pskov Pancake Party

Pskov locals and youth are invited to celebrate ECDay at participating in Business breakfast, making Neighbourhood Roll and holding Pancake Party in Pskov.
The Estonia-Russia together with the Latvia-Russia Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes is organizing ECDay activities to attract locals’ and youth’ attention to cross-border cooperation and to discuss obstacles and benefits of cross-border cooperation in business sphere.
“Sharing borders, growing closer” is the motto for the European Cooperation Day what is celebrated every year on 21 September and surrounding days throughout Europe and beyond its external borders.
