Peipsi Center for Transboundary Cooperation and Setomaa Union are organizing a seminar on methods of teaching cultural heritage. Event takes place in Estonian National Museum in Tartu.
Heritage centers in Peipsiland and Setoland will share their experiences and good practices in preserving local cultural traditions and dialects. We will also talk about cultural heritage and digital culture in modern society.
The seminar includes field trip to Liivi Museum in Rupsi village – a homeplace of Juhan Liiv (1864-1913), one of the greatest Estonian poets. The historical open-air exposition of the museum with its three buildings offers rural atmosphere of the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries.
Permanent exhibition on Kodavere parish introduces the culturally diverse area.
