On 1-2 June 2023, Emajõe Waterworks Ltd (AS Emajõe Veevärk), the Association of Estonian Water Works Association and Kärdla Waterworks Ltd (AS Kärdla Veevärk) held a joint study trip to Hiiumaa, Estonia.
Emajõe Waterwork`s remote monitoring and control solution (SCADA) is one of the most advanced in its field. At the meeting of water companies detailed SCADA solutions, benefits of previous project “Improving the quality of shared assets by reducing their pollution load from utility sewer systems of towns and rural areas in the programme territory“ (ER29) and practices were presented and knowledge exchanged. Cooperation between water enterprises will be actively continued also in the future.
Emajõe Veevärk was able to implement the updated SCADA solution with the support of Estonian EU external border programme.
The study trip to share project results and gained best experiences took place in the framework of the project “Emajoe Waterwork WMP” (ER191) co-financed by Estonian EU external border programme.
