Estonian EU external border programme

The awarded project “Cooperation of professional and local communities to improve quality of healthcare services, rehabilitation and social inclusion in border areas of Estonia and Russia” – ERgonomics (ER153) is now officially launched and will be implemented by 2 partners: TE Mustvee Health Center (Estonia) and State Budgetary Institution of Social Service “Pervomaysky Psychoneurologic Dispensary (Russia).

The Project coming under Thematic Objective (TO) 5 “Support to local and regional good governance” within the 3rd Call for proposals will focus on the improvement of quality of healthcare services, rehabilitation and social inclusion in border areas of Estonia and Russia by fostering cooperation of professional and local communities. Also “Ergonomics” project will implement some activities to make the society more tolerant and attentive to quality of everyday life of people with special needs.

Vocational trainings for staff of both partner organizations will be arranged to enhance the experience in healthcare, treatments and social services.

Inclusion Days for local societies will be held to get to know better ergonomic solutions and improve life quality for their relatives or neighbours with special needs.

To improve the quality of the providing services, equal access to the healthcare small investments and purchase of equipment and consumables will be made by the project partners.

The project overall budget is EUR 120 283,80 which includes Programme co-financing in the amount of EUR 99 995,76.
