Estonia-Russia Programme is in the middle of its implementation period and in parallel preparations for a new Interreg NEXT programmes started. Responsibility for coordinating and supervising the process relies on National Authorities. |
On 11 March 2020 the Joint Programming Committee held its first meeting in Tallinn, Estonia and launched the preparation process of a new period of Estonia-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Programme 2021-2027. |
The third Call for proposals of Estonia-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 was closed on 21 February 2020. It resulted with 14 project applications, exceeding available grant amount about 3 times. Work continues with quality assessment. |
Two brass orchestras playing together, elaboration of comprehensive measures for diabetes prevention, pure water for inhabitants in a village and finding organic pollutant in joint waters are the new findings shared by projects. |

In the view of the European Commission structure simplification, since the beginning of this year ENI CBC programmes have been transferred from DG NEAR to DG REGIO. |
