Estonian EU external border programme

Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) of Estonia-Russia CBC Programme has carried out the 1st phase of support of the Full Application Form Preparation process. Applicants and partners of all 42 projects selected by the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) for submission of the Full Application Forms (FAF) were invited to attend information seminars in Estonia and Russia in November and December.

Taking into consideration specifics of the current Programme, focus of the events was on the development of Logical Framework of the projects and practical instructions on elaboration of FAF in electronic monitoring system (eMS).

   

Presentations by the Joint Technical Secretariat focused on the recommendations on project’s budget planning based on 3E Principles: Economy, Efficiency and Effectiveness, and on observation of the Programme’s communication and visibility requirements. Seminars were delivered in English with translation to Estonian and Russian.

  

During 1st sessions of the seminars expert of TESIM project Mr Edmunds Snikeris delivered training on Projects Logical Framework development combined with the practical case study and presented to audience interactive tools supporting projects preparation and implementation. Online learning platform with video tutorials, written guidance and training materials is available on the TESIM website and will be supplemented shortly.

The 2nd phase of support of the Full Application Form preparation process includes individual and group consultations to be held in January, February 2018 in JTS main office in Tartu, as well as in the JTS branch offices in Pskov and St. Petersburg, consultations by phone and e-mail and placing clarifications on the most “hot” issues on the Frequently Asked Question section of the Programme’s site.
