From family to society

Project “FFC” aims to contribute to the improvement of social services for families (family protection), rising professional capacities of social workers in sparsely populated territories and areas with population decline, widening people-to-people contacts among population.

Specific objective:

To activate, empower and support families at risk at the local level to expand their influence on the local society and engage them in the lifelong learning process.

Main activities:

  • Local trainings for families at risk in Narva and Pskov and individual support and accompaniment to help them to solve existing problems and to find new opportunities;
  • International learning programmes in Estonia and Russia are held to provide the participants with international experience, to let families find out more about cultures of neighbouring country (Estonia or Russia), learn from each other and to support their learning process;
  • Development of international CBC micro-initiatives in order  to improve competences and skills and to involve more people to the learning and cross-border cooperation.
