Heritage Hunters - ER193

Peipsiland is a unique cultural, historical and social community that naturally connects many different regions on the shore of Lake Peipsi. Various regional languages are still spoken in the coastal areas of lake Peipsi.

The project Heritage Hunters is based on achievements of previous ER164 “PeipsiRing” project.

Overall objective: to improve the cooperation of local communities in heritage protection and promotion. It ensures the marketing, promotion and readiness of local organizations and communities of the Estonian municipalities to actively cooperate in the field of preservation and promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of the region.

Specific objectives:

  • to improve cooperation in the joint marketing field for museums and heritage centers in the lake Peipsi region;
  • to create a network of the key persons;
  • to generate joint marketing ideas and pilot two of them within the project;
  • to develop new tools preserving and promoting local linguistic and cultural heritage such as Heritage Hunters game and card game about lake Peipsi Land.
