Via Hanseatica Plus - ER48

Extending, strengthening the network and smart marketing of Via Hanseatica

Project supports the enhanced development of tourism and tourism SMEs along the expanded Via Hanseatica (VH) route due to smart marketing of Via Hanseatica and strong network of Via Hanseatica entrepreneurs.

Specific objectives:  

  • Extending the VH route by adding four new destinations
  • Improved cross-border cooperation of public and private sector from project area form reinforced network of VH entrepreneurs and other stakeholders
  • Smart marketing of VH (including cross-marketing) resulting to increased accessibility and increased awareness of project area for foreign and domestic tourists

Main activities:

  • Marketing coordination and planning: joint coordination, elaboration of joint marketing plan and preparation of list of stakeholders to be involved in marketing
  • Networking actions: updating and maintaining list of VH network members, organizing contact making and networking events to facilitate interaction and cooperation between VH tourism entrepreneurs and tour agencies
  • Organizing capacity building events: local and joint (international) trainings and study trips.
  • Upgrading VH packages
  • Ensuring additional press coverage by creation and publishing press releases, creating media contacts to ensure publishing articles-interviews, TV and radio broadcasts – in connection with bigger events and route launch;
